Do I need to book?
We recommend booking especially at weekends and school holidays. We do take walk ins if we have space so whatever works best for you. If you wanted to book you can do so on the phone, social media, by email or the make a booking section from the menu above.
What is a studio fee ?
We charge a £6 studio fee for pottery and foam clay. This covers the cost of the paint, glaze and firing or the foam used on your item. We charge this in addition to the bisque (item) chosen. The studio session lasts 1.5 hours.
What is a bisque?
A bisque is the pre made ceramic item you choose from the shelf to paint. These can be ornaments, money boxes, mugs, plates and so on.
Do you offer kiln hire?
Yes, we can fire your own pottery items in either of our shops at £6 per item or £60 a kiln load. Please contact us for more details.
When can I collect my pottery?
Painted pottery items are ready to collect between 1 & 7 days later depending on the space in the kilns at the time that you come in. You will be informed of the collection date on the day you paint We do offer a rush service for an additional £4 if you need the item sooner, such as last minute gifts. All other crafts can be taken home the same day.
Are my pottery mugs and plates food safe?
Yes. Once fired in the kiln items are food and drink safe. You can also wash items by hand and occasionally in the dishwasher on the top shelf. Items can also be placed in a microwave.
